=) I'm grateful

This originally was a post about my job. And due to an insightful blogger they reminded me I should be more thankful. That everything I have is a gift from Allah Subhana Wa Tala. They were a 100% right, I should be more grateful, a lot of people are jobless and are suffering while I have one. So Al-hamdulilah for that, and of course at times I'm not going to like it but I'll look at the bright side of things. InshAllah I'll be rewarded for it because it could be considered Ibadah. :)

InshaAllah If I do have a career later on I hope it has something to do with Islam.
Speaking of the future, I can't imagine having a family and still committing to a full time/part time job. Props go out to all those working Muslimahs that take care of business and still continues to keep her family as number one priority. MashAllah, I don't know how they do it.

  1. Awww, yeah.
Standing on your feet for ages is so annoying! I was on mine, with almost no break, from 9 - 5 today. Yucky!

  2. I used to work at a petrol station as a pump attendant. And I had to stand for hours. During my first few days of working, I tried sitting down after standing for so long. Then this mean looking big man looked at me like he had a problem with me as he got out of his car. I was like, "man whats the problem with some people nowadays?" The man then went into the office and I had a bad feeling about it.

Soon after I found out that he was my boss. My first impression with him wasn't so good. Anyways, good luck in your future plans, inshaAllah. :)

  3. we are part of this huge machinery that is suppose to be part of this world yet apart from it. given that our time at office is paid by our company, is it not right to do our work without resentment esp if it is not haram and is a means by which we support our family and ourselves?

  4. Aww Ellen that suck's! Trust me I feel your pain haha.

Sir Adib!! Loool that's too funny!! Yeah the second day of work I had to use this manual on the computer and I wanted to sit so bad. So I looked around and I noticed there was some kind of bench looking thing and I sat down. Than all a sudden the boss came around and told me there's no sitting on the job. Lol I soon realized that "bench" was really made for books!! =P Oh man, I was so embarrassed.

  5. Anonymous, good point. I guess I should be more grateful, a lot of people are jobless and are suffering while I have one. So Al-hamdulilah for that, and of course at times I'm not going to like it but I'll look at the bright side of things. InshAllah I'll be rewarded for it because it could be considered Ibadah. :)

  6. It's so cool that it's a bookstore, and you get 30% discounts on any book you want!!! and that you get to work on your job plus being able to pray at the right time. Masha Allah. =)

So you'd rather stay at home and clean, huh? ;) Insha Allah, in future you won't have to work. Like if you get a really rich husband lol.

    Salam ~

  7. Yeah so If you want any books let me know ;), the only problem is there kind of lacking on the Islamic ones! Lol and yes I love my house but work is fun too... at times. Haha your too funny, a rich husband!? I'll be happy with a man that is poor in Dunya but rich in Akhira :)). But realistically speaking he has to be financial stable, for a family and all that but inshAllah khair. Much <333

  8. Lol, now we're talking about husbands here, hehe. I'm sure many men would like or have absolutely no problem with you wanting to stay at home to take care of the kids. My mum does that and I'm proud of her. x)

To continue with what happened at my job, my boss called me to his office and whew, I was lucky that he didn't scold me. He only explained to me what my role was.
